Cancellation & Refund Policy

I. SUBSCRIPTION

Readbase is an iOS-first application and web service designed for reading and managing newsletters. Certain features are available for free, while access to premium features requires a paid subscription.

Subscription plans, pricing, and included features are clearly displayed on the Website before purchase. Prices are shown in applicable currencies and may vary by region.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to renewal.

II. FREE ACCESS / TRIALS

From time to time, Readbase may offer free access, limited features, or trial periods. If a trial is offered, its duration and conditions will be clearly communicated before activation.

At the end of a trial period, continued access to premium features requires an active paid subscription.

III. PAYMENT METHODS

Subscriptions purchased through the Website are processed securely via Stripe and may be paid using debit or credit cards or other payment methods supported by Stripe.

By completing a purchase, you authorize Llingas LTD to charge the applicable subscription fees to your selected payment method.

IV. CANCELLATION

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

• Cancelling disables automatic renewal
• You will retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period
• Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription

Subscriptions purchased on the Website can be managed via the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible through the subscription confirmation email, or by contacting us at readbase@llingas.com.

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, cancellations must be completed at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

V. REFUNDS

Website purchases

Subscriptions and digital services purchased through the Website are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that:

• The digital service is made available immediately
• The service is considered delivered once access is granted

EU Consumer Notice

If you are a resident of the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital content purchase within fourteen (14) days, unless:

• You expressly consent to the immediate performance of the service, and
• You acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content is made available

By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to the immediate provision of the digital service and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is waived once access is granted.

Technical issues

Where required by law, refunds may be considered if the digital service has a persistent technical defect that is solely attributable to Readbase and prevents normal use, excluding issues caused by user devices, connectivity, or unsupported environments.

In such cases, reasonable documentation (e.g. screenshots or error descriptions) may be requested.

Refunds, where applicable, are issued at our discretion and in accordance with mandatory consumer protection laws.

VI. APP STORE PURCHASES

Subscriptions purchased via the Apple App Store are governed exclusively by Apple's refund and cancellation policies.

Llingas LTD does not process or control refunds for App Store purchases. For such purchases, please contact Apple directly through your App Store account.

VII. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute for a subscription fee, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to your account while the dispute is reviewed.

We may contest chargebacks by providing evidence that the transaction was authorized and the service was delivered.

VIII. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or legal requirements.

Updates apply only to future purchases or renewals. If you do not agree with an updated policy, you may cancel your subscription before the next renewal.
